Should I provide black & white or color art?

- Black & White art is required for most engraving:
__It must be pure black on a pure white background. No greys. No colors.
__Provide black & white art for:
___Engraved Plaques, Clocks and Acrylic Awards
___Glass and Crystal items - graphics must be simple and text a minimum of 16 pts.
___Lapel pins - contact us and we will send you additional art guidelines
___Custom medals - contact us and we will send you additional art guidelines
- Color art can be used for most printed items:
__The finished product will be close to the colors you submit, but not exact.
__Provide color art for:
___Dash Plaques, Printed Plaques, Buttons, Mugs, Insert Medals, Printed Ribbons, Printed Nametags

How do I submit my art?
_Art which meets the guidelines below can be sent electronically.

- Computer Platform: PC
- File formats: CDR (X3 or lower), PDF, EPS, BMP, TIF or JPG.
___Shown in order of preference.
___The following are not usable: DOC, PPT, Macintosh, or files with embedded fonts or graphics.
- Fonts must be converted to curves on vectored art so the text will look the same on our computer as it does on yours.
___Also called: convert to paths, create outlines, text to box, text to polygon.
_Vectored art is preferred. Bitmaps are also accepted.
- Bitmaps should be provided at 300 dpi, the size you want imprinted or larger.
___Bitmaps that are jagged or fuzzy require artwork time to clean up. See pricing below.

There is a $10 make-ready charge for each supplied graphic provided as outlined above.
If the art you provide doesn't fit these guidelines, we can clean up or redraw your art.
Our charge for this service is $40/hour.
